Blogs

Hey, welcome to the new home of my blogs!

I started blogging back in 2010, mainly about general things and life with, my then band, Triaxis.

In 2011, after an up and down five years on a journey with my health, I started to blog about my struggles with my weight. I've never hid the fact that I do suffer with low self image or that I rarely feel comfortable in my own skin but writing about it really helped and it appeared to resonate with a lot of other people too.

So the No More Mrs Fatty McFat Blog was founded and along with it a change in career as I trained to be a qualified Personal Trainer. I look back over those blogs and how my own education came so far in that time. My perceptions and understanding of the human body changed dramatically over the years. I continue to educate myself on the human body and how we can be healthier but alas, as is traditional for me, I found myself returning to old habits and the weight piling back on.

2021 saw it's own trials and tribulations

After a bout of clinical depression, and realising that I need to return to those posts that gave me so much in the past, I now blog about the journey again and am in the process of moving all my old blogs into this single space. So please bear with the 'Recent Posts' section seemingly being in the past. The posts will show up there while I add them in but will eventually be replaced by more up to date content. Additionally, I'm starting other blog areas in this single space. One relating to my recent diagnosis of said clinical depression and my journey of understanding, accepting and working through that, then the other for the band and my twitch streaming journeys, as an older woman on the internet.

I hope there's something in these blogs for everyone. I hope it also gives you some insight into the complex being that is me. I promise to never sugar coat anything and be as open, honest and as transparent as I am comfortable being at the time of writing. All I ask is that you approach everything in life with kindness and ask if what you are sharing is pertinent, kind and actually helpful. Oh, and much like on my twitch channel, I will boot your arse off my pages if you're a dick! You've been warned - I'm quite militant about things like that.

Thank you for taking some time out of your day to read my website, it is appreciated.

Much love

Krissie x
